Systems Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME)
SYSTEMS ANALYST SME General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate opening for a Systems Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting the Worldwide Field Sustainment Army Watercraft Systems mission at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The selected candidate will provide enterprise level software support, asset management, reporting, and systems administration support for mission critical Army systems and logistics operations. Mission Impact:Research, design, develop, test, and modify enterprise systems and applications softwarePerform all phases of the software development lifecycleAnalyze business and operational requirements to develop technical solutionsCreate and maintain software models, workflows, and system documentationPerform software updates, testing, debugging, and quality assurance activitiesDevelop reports and dashboards supporting operational and management requirementsMaintain relationships between assets within the Single Interface to the Field supporting the Incident Reporting ModuleCreate and maintain Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications tools for data verification and asset managementPerform Quality Assurance reviews on Incident Reports submitted by Contractor Field Service RepresentativesAnalyze labor reporting data and generate monthly performance metrics for leadership reviewSupport ServiceNow, OAMS interfaces, and asset accountability systemsMaintain inventory accountability and warehouse tracking within the WASP Inventory Management Cloud platformDevelop PowerPoint presentations and executive level reporting productsSupport collaboration efforts using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google MeetWhat you'll need to be successful:Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business Systems, or related field with 8 years of relevant experience OR 12 years of equivalent technical experience without a degreeMinimum 8 years of experience supporting DoD enterprise systems, logistics systems, cyber enabled platforms, or asset management environmentsExperience supporting systems in compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF requirementsStrong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and AccessExperience using ServiceNow and OAMS interfacesExperience with WASP Inventory Cloud or similar warehouse and inventory management systemsExperience with Python and Visual Basic programmingExperience creating reports, dashboards, and data analysis productsExperience supporting asset accountability, inventory tracking, and logistics workflowsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentAbility to support cyber workforce qualification requirements aligned to assigned DoD 8140 work role categoriesActive Secret Clearance RequiredAbility to Obtain and Maintain a Top-Secret ClearanceRequired CertificationsCandidates must meet qualification requirements in accordance with DoD 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification Program requirementsCandidates must possess one of the following certifications at time of hire: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator AssociateCertification requirements may vary based on assigned work role and Government customer requirements Preferred CertificationsITIL Foundation CertificationServiceNow Certified System AdministratorMicrosoft Power Platform CertificationCertified Associate in Python Programming (PCAP)Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Preferred SkillsExperience supporting Army logistics or sustainment operationsKnowledge of Risk Management Framework processesFamiliarity with cybersecurity compliance and vulnerability remediationExperience supporting C5ISR or tactical communications systemsExperience developing automated reporting and workflow solutionsFamiliarity with Army property accountability and supply chain operationsWhat GDIT OffersFull flex work week401K with company matchComprehensive health benefitsCareer growth and internal mobility opportunitiesCollaborative and mission focused work environmentEmployee rewards and recognition program
