Job Description
The Associate Director plays a pivotal role in collaborating with multiple teams to ensure the successful development and execution of strategies for APS Patient Marketing in Gastroenterology. Within the organization, the Associate Director cultivates strong working relationships and encourages extensive collaboration with teams in Patient Services, Digital Lab, Co-pay Center of Excellence, Patient Engagement, medical and regulatory review, market research, business analytics, Patient Services Training, Brand team and other cross-franchise teams. Externally, the Associate Director partners with various agencies and consultants to effectively lead the implementation of marketing strategies and plans for numerous stakeholders. The candidate must be able to operate in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment with high expectations and a patient focus that drives the need for quality deliverables and performance. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement marketing strategic and tactical plans, for SKYRIZI focused on achieving the brand aligned objectives
- Assist in leading APS Gastroenterology Marketing Annual Planning Process and collaborate with business partners to ensure pull-through
- Develop patient experience journeys and then leverage these journeys to develop Patient Services programs to ensure patients have the resources they need to adhere to their doctor-prescribed treatment plan
- Consistently execute multiple marketing initiatives on time
- Provide oversight of agency relationships, focusing on partnerships with their Account, Strategy, Project Management, Creative, Measurement, CRM, Digital and Media teams to develop innovative and impactful initiatives and tactics
- Effectively collaborate with leadership and cross functional teams within a highly matrixed organization to support ongoing Care Model development and launch priorities
- Partner with Marketing Business Insights and Analytics (MABI) team to evaluate and report on the effectiveness of campaign strategies through campaign measurement plans, key performance indicator development and formulate recommendations for optimization/scaling across brands
- Provide leadership, direction, and development for direct reports
- Effectively track and manage the marketing budget
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and previous marketing leadership experience required; Master's degree preferred
- 8+ years of marketing experience, with the ideal candidate having previous Pharma experience
- Demonstrated ability developing and managing marketing plans and programs including brand positioning, market research, omnichannel strategy, end-to-end campaign management, and finance management
- Strong background in customer, patient, or service and retention strategies
- Proficient planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, agility, and follow-through
- Experience managing omnichannel campaigns on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager or similar platforms
- Adept at managing and leading various external and internal partnerships, including agencies, production vendors and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience leading marketers
- A balance of analytical capability and creative vision
- Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing marketing budgets effectively
- Launch and market access experience a plus
