Senior Consultant, EPIC ADM

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant within Epic ADM, you will support revenue cycle enhancements and capital projects by leading Epic build, configuration, testing, and go-live activities across Professional Billing and/or Hospital Billing workflows. You will work closely with project managers, operational stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective system solutions, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing application optimization. This role requires strong Epic revenue cycle knowledge, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Build, configure, test, and support Epic revenue cycle enhancements and project-based changes.
  • Partner with project management and business stakeholders to document requirements, workflows, and technical solutions.
  • Support go-live, issue resolution, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance for Epic revenue cycle applications.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications

Required
  • Epic Certification: Must have a current Epic Professional Billing and/or Hospital Billing certification.
  • Epic Revenue Cycle Configuration Experience:3-6 years of recent hands-on configuration experience across Epic revenue cycle modules.
  • Build, Testing, and Go-Live Support:3+ years of experience in Epic application build, workflow design, testing, troubleshooting, go-live, and post-production support.
  • Project Delivery and Documentation:2+ years of experience supporting project planning, technical documentation, and cross-functional delivery activities.
  • Client/Stakeholder Communication:2+ years of experience presenting solutions, delivering demonstrations, and working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred
  • Direct work experience and strong functional knowledge of Epic revenue cycle workflows and modules.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and breaking work into clear, manageable deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills in fast-paced delivery environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations and communicate system capabilities to varied audiences.

This compensation range is specific to Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,700 to $151,800.
