Pricing Specialist - Quincy, IL
Pricing Specialist – Quincy, IL
ADM Animal Nutrition, a division of Archer Daniels Midland Company, is seeking an ambitious individual for a Pricing Specialist role to be based at the Quincy, IL office and report to the Supervisor, Pricing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Item set-up in Oracle EBS for organizations which includes developing an understanding of the purposes of the item attributes and categories.
- Price ingredients for assigned organizations.
- Price custom products for assigned organizations. This may include premix and pet food products.
- Set up contracts with Oracle EBS.
- Actively conduct price changes on a rotating basis including understanding process flows.
- Assume lead role on special projects as requested.
- Timely, accurate and professional communication with internal and external customers.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS- BS degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in professional business setting.
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative.
- Attention to details.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to productively utilize Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Oracle, and PowerPoint.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Collaborator.
Physical Requirements:- Working at a desk on a computer for extended periods.
- Working on the telephone.
