The Termini Lab is recruiting a highly motivated Lab Aide to join our team. Our lab focuses on understanding how blood stem cells regenerate after stress and how these pathways are manipulated during disease. The Termini Lab combines basic cell biology with translational applications using pre-clinical mouse models and primary patient samples to evaluate blood cells. Techniques we regularly use in the lab include cell culture, flow cytometry, brightfield microscopy, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR), immunohistochemistry, and fluorescence-activated cell sorting.
The candidate will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in performing research and contributing to daily laboratory operations in collaboration with scientists in the laboratory. The candidate will join an environment that supports creativity, professional development, and scientific discovery. This position is part-time, 10 hours per week.
