CSC Commercial Driver

We strive to create a positive and fun atmosphere where our Team Members feel valued and are enthusiastic about the contributions they make to the success of Leslie's.<em></em></p><p><strong><em>Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 / Hourly </em></strong></p><p><em>Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. </em></p><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Job Overview: </strong></span></p><p>The Commercial Service Center (CSC) Driver is responsible for the safe, compliant, and timely transportation of hazardous materials to assigned locations. This role ensures operational continuity, protects company and customer safety, and supports strategic business objectives. The CSC Driver conducts pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintains accurate logs and delivery documentation, and adheres to all DOT, FMCSA, and Hazmat regulations. This position is critical to customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and minimizing third-party transportation costs.</p><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></span></p><ul><li>Operate a Class A or B Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements in compliance with DOT regulations.</li><li>Handle and deliver hazardous materials, including chlorine and pool acid, following all safety protocols.</li><li>Load and unload merchandise weighing 50–100 pounds using proper equipment and techniques.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.</li><li>Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time, including logs, manifests, and customer receipts.</li><li>Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including forklift use, stocking, and inventory management.</li><li>Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines</li></ul><p><span style="color: #333333;"><strong> Qualifications: </strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="color: #333333;">High school diploma or equivalent.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Must be at least 21 years of age.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Possession of a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Clean driving record</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Hazardous Material Transportation and Security Plan training (HM-126F) must be successfully completed prior to handling and delivering any chemical products.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Any driver of a Company vehicle must pass Pre-Hire Application Screening.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Maintain current vehicle insurance.</span></li><li><span style="color: #333333;">Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and coworkers.</span></li></ul><p><strong>We offer our employees competitive compensation, extensive paid training,</strong> comprehensive and flexible suite of benefits package, 401K with company match, team member discounts, rewards for top performers, and most importantly career advancement opportunities.</p><p>L<strong>eslie’s recognizes a critical component to our continued success is our people. </strong> Leslie’s is proud to have a culture of inclusion that seeks to celebrate and embrace the different backgrounds and perspectives that help drive our success and support team members in developing and growing with us.
