Pay: $20 – $21.50*/hour *Includes $1.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift <h2></h2><h2>Position</h2>Production Operator<h2></h2><h2>Location</h2>USA, Decatur, AL<h2>How You'll Create Possibilities</h2><div><div>Why join our team?   </div><div><ul><li>Paid weekly   </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Medical, dental and vision benefits starting day one   </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Tuition reimbursement and career development   </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Paid vacation, holiday and personal time   </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Paid parental leave and so much more!  </li></ul></div><div>What you will experience at GE Appliances: </div><div>The responsibility of the Production Operator can include but not be limited to the following:  </div><div><ul><li>Operate on the line interacting and cooperating with other team members to complete job tasks on different models of the same product moving along the line.   </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Perform repetitive line assembly operations to assemble product quickly to approved specifications. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Utilize wide range of powered-hand tools to assembly check, adjust or repair appliances.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Various general assembly activities required including: driving screws and/or assembling other fasteners; applying tape, insulation or other materials; assembling/fastening wire harnesses, terminating wires; checking, adjusting, or repairing sub or final assemblies; testing and/or packaging of sub or final assemblies.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Inspect work to verify quality and conformance to required specifications.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Complete daily 5S requirements.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>The factory is not climate controlled – conditions may be hot or cold. </li></ul></div><div> </div></div><h2>What You'll Bring to Our Team</h2><div><div>Minimum Requirements:  </div><div><ul><li>Be 18 years of age or older  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English  </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Must be willing to work overtime during the weekday and periodic weekend shifts to support the business needs with advance notice. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Pass a background check, drug screening and complete and pass a medical health questionnaire  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>You must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without an accommodation, including, but not limited to:  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Constantly standing; frequently handling various parts for assembly; frequently reaching at waist level, pushing/pulling, grasping, pinching, and fine motor dexterity; occasionally sitting, walking, reaching overhead, reaching at shoulder level, reaching at knee and floor level, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, ladder/stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, and neck flexion/extension/rotation.
