The University of Virginias Department of Drama invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Scenic Design.

Duties include teaching two courses per semester; advising and mentoring students at the graduate and undergraduate levels; building an excellent portfolio of professional creative work and/or research; and contributing to departmental, university, and national service in the field.

The Department of Drama offers undergraduate training in performance, design, and theatre studies and is part of the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Virginia.
